Regulations for use of the self-service workshop operated by P4 SERVICE Sp. z o.o.
General provisions
1. The company P4 SERVICE Spółka z o.o., located at ul. Prezydenta Gabriela Narutowicza 40/1, 90-135 Łódź (NIP 7252319319), hereinafter P4 SERVICE, offers Customers the possibility of renting a workshop station in order to carry out repairs of a vehicle with a kerb weight of up to 5 tonnes (in words: five tonnes) on their own. The Customer may also rent the tools needed for the repair, but only on condition that they are used within the rented workshop station on the company’s premises. The cost of renting stations and tools is set out in the Price List.
2. Before starting the rental of a station, the Customer familiarises themselves with:
- a) these Regulations for use of the Self-Service Workshop,
- b) the health and safety and fire regulations,
- c) the location of fire-extinguishing equipment,
- d) the location of the main power switch,
- e) the rules for safe use of tools, without creating a danger to themselves or other Customers,
- f) the privacy policy,
- g) the Price List.
After familiarising themselves with the information set out in points 2a) to 2e), before using the service the Customer signs a relevant declaration of having read this information and accepting the provisions of these regulations, or submits the declaration in electronic form. The lack of a signed declaration or a declaration submitted electronically results in refusal to use the services of P4 SERVICE.
Booking, identity checks and third parties
1. The Customer may book a station via the website www.brutalnypodnosnik.pl. The condition for booking in this mode is payment of a reservation fee in the amount described in the price list. If the service is used, the reservation fee is credited towards the price in accordance with the Price List. If the service is not used in accordance with the booking made, the reservation fee is forfeited.
2. An authorised Employee of P4 SERVICE has the right to verify the identity of the Customer before they use the service, as well as of any other persons accompanying the Customer at the rented workshop station.
3. If the Customer wishes to bring third parties onto the rented workshop station, an authorised Employee of P4 SERVICE has the right, at their own discretion, to:
- a) refuse these third parties entry; or
- b) allow these persons entry to the rented workshop station after receiving a signed declaration from them in accordance with point 2 above.
Rules of use, liability and safety
1. The car lift may only be operated by an authorised Employee of P4 SERVICE who holds the required qualifications and training. The Customer notifies the authorised Employee of P4 SERVICE of the wish to raise or lower the car. P4 SERVICE is not liable for the consequences of the Customer operating the car lift on their own.
2. P4 SERVICE is not liable for the effects and consequences of repairs carried out by the Customer.
3. P4 SERVICE is also not liable for any harm to the Customer’s health and property caused by their lack of knowledge or improper use of the workshop equipment, or use of the equipment contrary to its intended purpose.
4. The Customer bears full responsibility for all activities carried out on the vehicle, as well as for the vehicle itself. The Customer bears full responsibility for the actions of third parties whom they have brought onto the rented workshop station.
5. The Customer may use their own tools free of charge, provided that this does not pose a danger to themselves or others. The exception is power tools with a power above 1 kW, the use of which must be agreed with an employee of P4 SERVICE.
6. Within the station rental price, the Customer may use selected tools available on the workshop premises, such as: a workbench with a vice, a barrel table, cleaning cloths, hand paste and others. The rental price also includes use of the sanitary facilities and access to the wifi network.
7. The Customer undertakes to take care of the borrowed tools, to use them in accordance with their intended purpose, and bears full financial liability for the tools and machines rented from the company (including tools available free of charge as part of the station rental), their damage or loss, and any losses resulting from their use.
8. Any reservations concerning the condition and/or possible damage to the tools and machines rented by the Customer must be reported before they begin to use them. A later report of reservations may be classified as damage caused by the Customer.
9. The Customer is obliged to use the rented station in a manner that is not burdensome and does not pose a danger to other Customers.
10. The Customer bears full responsibility for damage to third parties resulting from their actions, in particular damage to other Customers of the workshop.
11. P4 SERVICE is not liable for property left by the Customer on the workshop premises and the adjacent yard.
12. The fee for renting a station is calculated in accordance with the Price List for each commenced clock hour. Each hour of rental is payable in advance.
13. P4 SERVICE has a specific number of tools available for rental — before using the services, the Customer should obtain information from P4 SERVICE staff about the availability of a given tool at the time of renting the station. Its unavailability is not grounds for claims or for the Customer to refuse to pay the station rental fee.
14. It is possible to book a station and/or tools available in P4 SERVICE’s offer by telephone or in person for an agreed time. If the Customer does not arrive within 15 minutes of the previously agreed time, the booking expires. The lack of information about a possible delay cannot be grounds for claims by the Customer.
15. After the rental ends, the Customer returns the tools and the station in a condition no worse than at the start of use, and settles the charges due: for their rental (in accordance with the Rental Card), for the subsequent hours of station rental (after the first hour paid in advance), and is also obliged to take the car and used parts, consumables and waste with them.
16. The Customer is obliged to remove the car from the workshop after the rental ends, under penalty of P4 SERVICE charging an additional fee of PLN 615 gross for each commenced day during which the car occupies the station after the rental has ended. If the car is not collected within 3 days from the end of the rental, P4 SERVICE has the right to remove the car from the self-service workshop at the Customer’s cost and risk.
17. Any problems with work at the stations or possible damage to tools must be reported immediately to P4 SERVICE staff.
18. Smoking and the consumption of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicants is completely prohibited on the premises of the workshop and P4 SERVICE. Persons under the influence of the above substances are prohibited from being on the company’s premises.
19. P4 SERVICE staff have the right to demand that a Customer leave the station if, by their behaviour or work, they pose a danger to themselves and/or other persons on the company’s premises, as well as in the case of behaviour that disturbs the order of the workshop.
20. P4 SERVICE staff have the right to refuse Customers the use of the workshop’s services without giving a reason.
21. The use of open flames on the workshop premises is strictly prohibited. If a source of open flame is noticed, the Customer is obliged to immediately inform P4 SERVICE staff of this fact.
22. If the Customer notices any event on the workshop premises which, in the Customer’s opinion, may be dangerous, the Customer is obliged to immediately inform P4 SERVICE staff of this fact.
