How often should A/C be serviced?
We recommend a recharge and disinfection once a year — the system loses up to 10% of refrigerant per year, and the evaporator gathers bacteria over time.
What’s the difference between R134a and R1234yf?
These are two refrigerant types — older cars use R134a, newer ones R1234yf. We service both on BOSCH equipment.
What does A/C disinfection give you?
It removes bacteria, fungi, and odours from the system, improving cabin air quality.
How long does an A/C service take?
A standard recharge with a leak check takes about an hour; disinfection adds a few dozen minutes.
How do you know the A/C needs recharging?
The most common symptom is weaker cooling and longer cabin cool-down — that’s when it’s worth checking the refrigerant level.
