We're opening Auto Komis at Grabiszyńska 241 — we sell only verified used cars: with full history, checked in our workshop, and with a warranty on select models. Before any car goes on sale, it goes through the same inspection we run for our everyday service customers.
Buying a car from a classified ad is a gamble — you don't know if the mileage is real, whether the car had a serious accident, or what's actually under the hood. That's why Auto Komis Brutalny Podnośnik works differently: every car goes through our workshop before it's listed — with a lift, computer diagnostics, and HUNTER wheel alignment on site. You see the actual inspection result, not the seller's opinion.
How we verify a car before it's listed
Before any car appears in Auto Komis, it goes through three stages of checks:
- Document and history verification — we check mileage against available databases (CEPiK, service history, inspection records) and compare it to the car's actual condition. A mismatch between mileage and wear is the first warning sign.
- Technical inspection in the workshop — the car goes on a lift: we check the suspension, brakes, fluids, seals, and the underbody condition (rust, signs of bodywork repairs, uneven welds).
- Computer diagnostics and a test drive — reading fault codes from the onboard computer, checking engine and transmission behaviour on a short test route to catch symptoms you can't see while the car is standing still.
Why this matters
A private seller has no reason to show you a computer diagnostics result or the underbody condition. We do — because we're the ones running that check, in our own workshop, on the same equipment we use for regular servicing.
What exactly we check during the pre-sale inspection
The pre-listing check covers the same points as our standard pre-road-trip inspection, only more thoroughly — because it determines whether the car gets listed at all:
- Suspension — play, bushings, shock absorbers, condition of arms and joints
- Brakes — pad and disc thickness, condition of lines and brake fluid
- Engine and transmission — seals, belt/chain condition, idle and under-load behaviour
- Underbody — corrosion, repair marks, underbody seal integrity, exhaust and DPF/FAP filter condition
- Wheel alignment — measured on a HUNTER rig if the car shows uneven tyre wear
- Electronics — reading computer fault codes, air conditioning, lighting, and sensor function
If a car has a serious fault that would require costly repairs right after purchase, it simply doesn't get listed — or it's listed with a clear description of the work needed and a correspondingly lower price. We don't sell in a hurry just to close a deal.
Viewing and test drive — how to book
You book a viewing online through the booking form or by phone. On site, we show you the full documentation — inspection results, service history, any repairs done before listing — and you go for a test drive. No rushing, no pressure of "someone else is looking at this car in an hour."
Financing — credit, leasing, instalments
We work with banks and leasing companies, so if you're not paying cash, we'll help you choose a financing option and handle the paperwork on the spot — no running between institutions. This covers both consumer credit and business leasing.
Got a car to sell? Buy-back and trade-in
If you want to sell your current car or trade it in against another purchase, we'll prepare a valuation right after the inspection — no need to post your own ad or deal with random buyers. We can simply buy it or take it as part of the deal.
Warranty — what it actually covers
We offer a warranty on select models — its scope depends on the specific car's condition and age, so we always spell it out clearly before purchase, not just in the fine print. If a car comes with a warranty, you know exactly what it covers and for how long.
What to watch out for when buying outside a verified dealer
Warning signs when buying from a classified ad
Mileage that doesn't match interior and pedal wear, no service history, fresh paint on only one body panel, a seller reluctant to allow a test drive or a lift inspection, a price noticeably below market with no explanation — any of these is reason enough to order an independent check before buying, or to walk away.
If you've already picked out a car from a private seller and want peace of mind before signing, you can also book a one-off pre-purchase inspection with us — the same lift and diagnostics check we run on cars entering our own dealership.
Are the cars at Auto Komis technically inspected?
Yes. Every car goes through a check in our workshop before listing — we verify technical condition on a lift and with computer diagnostics, and cross-check mileage and history against available databases.
Can I go on a test drive before buying?
Yes, always. Book a viewing online, and on site we'll show you the documentation and you'll go for a test drive before making a decision.
Do you help with credit or leasing?
Yes. We work with banks and leasing companies — we'll help you choose credit, leasing, or instalments and handle the paperwork on the spot, the same day.
Do you accept a car as a trade-in against another purchase?
Yes. We buy cars or take them as a trade-in — we prepare a valuation right after inspection, with no need to post your own ad.
Does every car come with a warranty?
We offer a warranty on select models, depending on their condition and age. We always clearly state the warranty scope before purchase, so you know exactly what to expect.
